Volunteers work in a variety of positions covering services offered to inmates. You will be assigned to a task with a set work schedule. All prospective volunteers must undergo a security screening and basic orientation, including a criminal history records check.

Security Rules for Volunteers
- Never bring anything into the facility for an inmate without specific permission from the Shift Supervisor or higher authority.
- Never carry messages in or out of the facility for inmates.
- Never give anything to an inmate without first getting permission.
- Follow instructions promptly and never argue with security staff.
All volunteers allowed into secure sections must obtain a valid Jail ID Card from the Inmate Services Department.
