Inmate Property and Money
Inmate funds account
Any currency an inmate brings into the jail will be
credited to his inmate account to pay debts and purchase
commissary items. Any remaining funds an inmate has when
released or transferred will be;
- Mailed to the inmate or receiving institution.
- Inmate
may pick up check in person during normal business
hours.
When sending money to an inmate, remember that only
currency in the form of money orders, cashier's checks,
or certified check, will be accepted and deposited into
an inmate’s fund account. Funds must be mailed
to the jail and will not be accepted in person. Make
the check or money order payable to the inmate.
Please do not send currency(cash). All cash received
in the mail will be returned to the sender at the sender's
expense.
