Position: Emergency Medical Technician

The Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, VA is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician - Enhanced Level (EMT-E) or an LPN to join our team. This full time position performs a variety of duties associated with providing care to inmates, including administration of medications. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma, or GED and have a current certification of LPN or EMT-E (or higher) and VA D.L. Successful completion of the jail basic academy within the first year of employment is required. The starting salary for this position is $32,706. Position: Assistant Superintendent

The Northern Neck Regional Jail is currently accepting applications for the position of Assistant Superintendent.
The successful candidate for this position would perform highly responsible professional and administrative work in planning, organizing and directing all activities and programs in the Regional Jail. Incumbent assumes responsibilities in the absence of the Superintendent. S/he would strive to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state and federal agencies and standards. They would also assist in the preparation, design and development of operational policies and procedures, gathers and maintains statistical data, and assists with the budget preparation. Supervises 100+ employees and completes projects and tasks assigned related to the operation of this 490+ bed correctional facility.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required. Experience should include eight to ten years in corrections, criminal justice, or public administration and must include a minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity managing projects and personnel. Salary range is $65,250 to 81,300 together with a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid holidays, paid health insurance, paid retirement, and tuition assistance.
